How it is calculated

The page runs the same engine files as the Haru app (calendar.js and saju2.js). The year pillar turns at the Start of Spring, the month pillar at the jie solar terms, the day pillar follows the unbroken sixty-day count, and the hour pillar uses true solar time for the city (longitude and the equation of time). Without a birth time you get six characters.
